I am an experienced educator and published author with over 25 years of experience. I began my teaching career as a tutor at UK universities including The Open University, Loughborough University and the University of Leicester.
In 2000 I was Visiting Fellow at Oxford University, and I am the author of the book, The Man who would be Kipling: The Colonial Fiction and the Frontiers of Exile (Palgrave Macmillan, 2003). My writings have appeared in many journals and are referenced in publications including The Cambridge Companion to Rudyard Kipling (Cambridge University Press, 2011).
I currently offer private tuition from Key Stage 3 to degree level, focussing on GCSE, A-Level, IGCSE and IB (International Baccalaureate) qualfications. I am also a GCSE and A-Level examiner.
